Vitamin D Deficiency – How I felt physically and mentally

Vitamin D Deficiency – How I felt physically and mentally

This video is about my recovery form vitamin d deficiency 🙂 I talk about how I felt over the course of 12 months. One thing I did forget to include was anxiety! I used to have it terribly and often- for about four years. Since supplementing with vitamin d anxiety quickly decreased and now I’ve only had it twice, very mildly, over the past three months. Sorry ’bout the angle and lighting! Don’t have the most time lately to have the proper camera set-up but I just wanted to get this video out there for people who I hope can benefit from it. Thanks for watching!

Low Vitamin D In Pregnancy Linked to Language Problems

Low Vitamin D In Pregnancy Linked to Language Problems.

Pregnant ladies with low levels of vitamin D in their second trimester may set their tyke up for dialect impedances, as indicated by another investigation in the online release of Pediatrics.

Scientists found that ladies with the least levels of vitamin D in their blood when they were 18 weeks pregnant were twice as liable to have a kid with dialect issues as ladies with the most elevated vitamin D levels.

The specialists took a gander at vitamin D levels in 743 pregnant ladies in Australia.

After the ladies conceived an offspring, analysts estimated their kid’s conduct at ages 2, 5, 8, 10, 14 and 17, and their dialect advancement at ages 5 and 10.

The examination found that vitamin D levels amid pregnancy weren’t connected to behavioral or passionate issues in the kids.

In any case, analysts found noteworthy dialect troubles among youngsters whose moms had low vitamin D.

The researchers say this doesn’t demonstrate that low levels of the vitamin caused the challenges, however it focuses to a “conceivable affiliation” that requirements additionally consider, Reuters reports.

Lead scientist Andrew Whitehouse of the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research at the University of Western Australia says that vitamin D levels in pregnant ladies have dropped throughout the most recent 20 years, likely on the grounds that they invest less energy in the sun, HealthDay News reports. The body makes vitamin D in the skin when it’s presented to daylight.

🔑Best Vitamin D + K2 Supplement
http://bestvitamindaily.com/pured3

If you guys are like me, you may battle low levels of vitamin d. At one point in my life I rarely got any sun and my mood and energy levels suffered. At the time I was working the night shift, sleeping during the day, and spent most of my free time inside.

It is estimated that up to 90% of Americans are deficient in D3 & sadly we are spending more time than ever indoors. With the advancements in technology and growing demand in the workplace, people are spending far more time in front of computer or tv screens than ever before. and as a result, many of us look for the best sources of vitamin d and ways how to get more vitamin d to counteract it.

There are many signs of d3 deficiencies like bone pain, achy muscles, slow recovery, depressed mood, low energy and some times it can even lead to more harsh conditions like graves disease, fibromyalgia, rickets and arthritis.

Thankfully there are some food sources of vitamin d we can work into our diets to help boost vitamin D levels
Turn the volume up, and pay attention because I am going to give you 4 sneaky foods that are surprisingly high in D3

Food #1 – Mushrooms

mushrooms are the only plant source of vitamin D

Like humans, mushrooms can synthesize vitamin D when exposed to UV light However, mushrooms produce vitamin D2,
Though vitamin D2 helps raise blood levels of vitamin D, it does not quite have the same impacts in the body ad D3
Nonetheless, wild mushrooms are excellent sources of vitamin D2.

Some varieties can have up to 2000 IU in just about 3.5 ounces. Better yet mushrooms are cheap, easy to find, and can toss in almost any dish. Pro tip… Order mushrooms on your pizza moving forward

Food #2 –Salmon
Salmon is arguably one of the best sources of vitaminD on the planet, unfortunately, it is rather expensive to purchase a high-quality cut of salmon. But Here are the facts one 3 1/2 ounce serving of salmon can have up to 600 IUs of vitamin D3.

What is interesting is that wild-caught salmon, Not farmed salmon can deliver up to 900 IUs of vitaminD in 3 1/2 ounces.
If you only have access to farm-raised salmon, don’t shy away from as it is still a great source of vitamin d. The great thing about this fatty fish aside from the d3. It is a great source of protein and high in omegas 3 fatty acids which are critical for brain function and overall health

Bottom line, buy this at your local grocery store and have it for dinner at least 1-2 times a week.

This Vitamin is Proven to Reduce Anxiety!

The Anxiety and Depression Association of America claims that anxiety disorders are the most common mental disorder in the U.S. as it affects over 40 million adults or 18% of the population.

The feeling of anxiety is overwhelming and impedes the ability to finish even the simplest daily tasks at times. These disorders can be of several types:

* Specific Phobias – These are intense fears of a certain situation or object, for instance, enclosed spaces, or heights.
* Panic Disorder – This disorder is accompanied by sudden feelings of terror that appear repeatedly.
* Generalized Anxiety Disorder – This disorder is manifested by excessive, unrealistic worries and constant tension, most often with no evident reason.
* Social Anxiety Disorder – It is also known as social phobia, and involves an overwhelming worry and self-consciousness about common social situations.

Save.

Researchers still study the exact causes of anxiety, but believe that in many cases, it is caused by a set of factors, like environmental stress and brain changes.

It has been found that severe or long-lasting stress alters the way nerve cells transmit information from one region of the brain to another.

Also, studies have shown that people suffering anxiety have changes in certain brain structures that control memories related to strong emotions, and the disorder might also be a result of trauma.

This disorder can be cured, and it is most commonly treated with prescription medication. Other people try alternative methods, like relaxation techniques, counseling, and dietary and lifestyle changes.

Yet, recent research also suggests that anxiety patients also lack an important vitamin in their diet- niacin, or vitamin B3.

It is a water-soluble B-complex vitamin, vital for the metabolism of energy, DNA repair, and synthesis of steroidal hormones. It relaxes the muscle tissue composing arteries, by vasodilation, a process of increasing their diameter.

In this way, the blood flow is boosted, the blood pressure gets regulated, the HDL levels are increased, while the LDL levels are reduced, and the heart heath is thus improved.

In the case of anxiety, this vitamin acts as an antidote to adrenaline, which is often over-produced.

Researchers maintain that it treats anxiety and depression and improves the sleep patterns. Biochemical, Physiological and Molecular Aspects of Human Nutrition confirms that niacin boosts blood flow, eliminates excess adrenaline, lowers blood pressure, and regulates hormones, and thus relaxes the body, manages stress, and treats anxiety.

The recommended daily intake of this vitamin depends on the gender and age, so make sure you consult your doctor before you start taking supplements.

Vitamin D Deficiency and Lupus – Study Reveals Relationship of Lupus Erythematosus and Vitamin D

http://www.VitaminDCouponCodes.com

Lupus, also known as Systemic lupus erythematosus, or SLE, is an autoimmune connective tissue disease that can affect any part of the body. Because it is a systemic autoimmune disease, it attacks the cells and tissues of the body, which results in tissue damage and inflammation.

Most often, lupus harms the joints, skin, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, blood vessels and nervous system. The course of lupus is unpredictable, which includes a period of flares alternating with remissions. Lupus is nine times more popular in women than in men. Women who are in childbearing ages and non-European descent are mostly prone to lupus.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for lupus. It can be fatal and is one of the leading causes of death from cardiovascular disease. Because it is incurable, alternative treatments are always being sought.

A research study conducted at the University of Oklahoma reveals an effective prevention and treatment. Researchers discovered that Vitamin D levels among lupus patients directly relates to the severity of the disease. Moreover, the results indicated that people with low D levels are more prone to developing lupus than those with high D levels. Furthermore, researchers noticed that a destructive inflammatory marker was prominent in Vitamin D deficient lupus patients compare to those with high levels. The complete result of the research study was published by Dr. Lauren Ritterhouse and her team.

From the paper that was published by Dr. Ritterhouse, it is clear that Vitamin D deficiency among lupus patients should be treated. Repletion with Vitamin D should be considered because of their observation. The research study focused on establishing a relationship of Vitamin d levels to SLE development. Both low levels and high D levels SLE patients were observed and found evidence of early lupus development among Vitamin D deficient patients. On the other hand, no evidence was found in patients with sufficient Vitamin D levels to suggest the same.

The study concludes that people with low D levels are more at risk to develop SLE than those with normal levels. Also, it was observed that the maker of destructive inflammation was widespread in low D levels patients. Based on this research study, high levels of vitamin D is good for SLE patients. The data gathered showed that the inflammatory marker was less apparent in patients with high levels of Vitamin D.

Treatment of lupus has progressed immensely over the years. With the use of modern technology and research studies, patients have seen alternative therapies such as increasing Vitamin D levels in the body. Also, patients had increased life expectancy and lessened pain in general. The results of these studies show that Vitamin D should be replenished among SLE patients to prevent their suffering from worsening.
