Superfoods To Boost Metabolism Part 1

Hello Friends! Welcome Back to Nandyz Tv. In today’s video you will see superfoods to boost your metabolism.

The faster your metabolic rate, the more energetic and active you are! if your metabolic rate is slow, you may face some serious issues like fatigue, high cholesterol, muscle weakness, dry skin, weight gain, swollen joints, heavy menstrual discharge, depression and a slow heart rate. So It is important that you boost your metabolism to keep your body healthy.
While it is true that metabolism is partly ruled by genetics, there are many ways to rev it up naturally. One way to do this is by eating foods that are known to help boost metabolism.Certain foods can increase your metabolism.
Let’s check them out…
1. Lemons
Lemons improve your metabolic function by cleansing your digestive system. The enzymes and vitamin C in lemons help in flushing out toxins from the body.
Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon in a glass of warm water and drink it daily in the morning on an empty stomach. You can also include lemons in your regular diet to flavor your food and also derive its health benefits.

2. Green Tea
Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and polyphenols, which aids in improving your body’s metabolic activity. This tea has thermogenic properties and promotes fat oxidation which help in weight loss and weight maintenance. Moreover, the antioxidants present in it help increase your energy expenditure.
According to experts you should drink 2 to 3 cups of green tea daily to improve your metabolism.

3. Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin which has thermogenic properties that boosts body temperature and metabolism. This Capsaicin compound enhances the activity of proteins inside fat cells that help break down fat thus it helps in weight management and increase energy expenditure. In addition, it helps in promoting fat oxidation in the body.

Consume 2.56 milligrams (mg) of capsaicin a day. Include cayenne pepper powder in your salads.

4. Grapefruits
Grapefruits are rich in vitamin C that regulates fat metabolism and aids in fat-burning. Grapefruits also contain naringenin, a flavonoid, that has antioxidant properties required for metabolism. Grapefruits also help lower insulin levels in the blood.
Try to eat fresh grapefruit with its fleshy white membranes or drink grapefruit juice with a high amount of pulp.

5. Apples
Apples are low in calories and rich in soluble fiber. The fiber in apple keeps cells from absorbing fat and encourages water absorption. This in turn helps remove fat deposits from the body, ensuring a boost to metabolic activity. In addition, the several B vitamins as well as vitamin K, potassium, magnesium and manganese in apples work together to turn fats, carbohydrates and protein that you consume throughout the day into energy.
Eat at least an apple a day. Green apples are particularly beneficial for boosting your metabolism.

6. Ginger
Ginger has thermogenic qualities, which increases body temperature. This rise in body temperature promotes metabolism and helps your body burn more calories. Plus, ginger helps increase the feeling of satisfaction so that you eat less and burn calories faster.
Drink 1-2 cups of Ginger tea throughout the day. You can also chew a small piece of raw ginger.

7. Black Coffee
Black coffee contains caffeine which works to break down fat by stimulating the nervous system. This signals fat cells to break down fat. Plus, Caffeine increases the release of neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine. that help improve metabolism and release fat from the body. Also, it increases body’s energy expenditure over a period of 24 hours
It is recommended to drink just 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day. After eating a meal, coffee has immediate effects on your metabolism.
