How to boost energy naturally – Top 10 natural energy boosters. Struggle to wake up in the morning? Feeling foggy and unable to focus at work in the afternoon? Or by the time evening rolls around, maybe you find yourself scarfing down a sugary dessert first—just to give you the quick energy you need to prepare dinner! If so, it’s time to re-energize your life. In this video, I’ll show you little-known hacks you can use to activate your potential for maximum energy.

In this video, we’ll go over the top 10 natural energy boosters you can use anytime you need that extra something! That extra umph!

But first, we have to talk about something super important, something you can’t overlook. And that is the reason that you’re tired! Now, we all have days when something is just off and we simply lack energy. You want to get into a cave, and hibernate. That’s completely normal. However, if these days happen all the time, that’s definitely not normal. If this is the case, then something is wrong, and you can’t just treat the symptom. You must turn your attention to the cause — what is making you tired ? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you getting the right amount of exercise? Are you eating healthful foods? We could even talk about your environment, because indeed: everything from the lights you’re exposed to, to the air that you breathe, can all affect your energy. We must address all these things. So without further ado, let’s dive right into the top 10 natural energy boosters.

#1. Brewer’s Yeast

What? Brewer’s yeast? A bit unusual, if you ask me. Heard of it before? It’s also sometimes called nutritional yeast. This type of yeast is often used by vegans as a substitute for cheese, or as a general flavoring agent for foods. Now, you need to make sure you have the right type of yeast: Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

But let’s just call it brewer’s yeast. So why is it part of the list? Because it has lots of a kind of nucleic acid called RNA. Now, RNA contains something called uridine. And urine can do wonders for energy. You can get uridine from Brewer’s yeast, and you can get it from supplements. I’ve taken uridine supplements in the past, and I absolutely love the stuff. It can give you a motivational boost, and just makes you pumped up to get work done!

Now, don’t go crazy popping uridine pills into your mouth like candy. Large amounts of it can cause problems to your body. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. Without a doubt, uridine — whether from brewer’s yeast or supplements — deserves a place in your toolbox of natural energy boosters. Try it out; you won’t regret it!

#2. Caffeine

You all know what caffeine is. And it’s just too effective not to be included on this list. Caffeine truly is the king of natural stimulants. Now, when we think of caffeine, most of us just jump straight to coffee, right? However, we can also get caffeine from other drinks! You could switch coffee out for green or black tea, for instance. Or go for cocoa or Yerba Maté. You have a lot of delicious options. Choose the one that suits you best.

But just one caveat. As some of you may already know, our bodies can build up a tolerance to caffeine. Take it too much, and its effects gradually diminish. So how can you prevent that? Don’t rely on caffeine exclusively. You need to take breaks from it every now and then. Go for a caffeine fast for several days, if not a week or two. When you resume taking caffeine after your break, it’ll give you that zing again!

I understand, though, that especially for you coffee drinkers out there, a coffee-fast is the last thing you want to hear. So let me introduce one more hack that doesn’t exclude your cherished cup of joe. I call it the caffeine nap. Here’s how you do it…

If you feel really tired, like you could just fall asleep at any moment, then take a caffeine nap. To do this, you should drink a big cup of coffee, or however you want to consume your caffeine. Aim for getting around 100 – 200 mg of caffeine, depending on your sensitivity to caffeine.

Feeling Tired All the Time! Try These Natural Energy Boosters.

if you feel tired all the time or your always asking yourself “why am I so tired?”, Don’t blow it off. Give yourself about 2 to 3 weeks to make some lifestyle changes and try this energy Boosters.

Improve Sleep Quality
Spending your nights tossing and turning can definitely make you feel exhausted the next day. While you sleep, your body is restoring and repairing the day’s damage.
If you’re having trouble sleeping, try some of my favorite tips:
Keep a consistent sleep schedule by going to bed and waking up at the same times each day, including weekends. This will help regulate your internal body clock.
Eliminate caffeine after 3 p.m. because the effects can last up to 12 hours.
Write out what’s stressing you out or keeping you up at night before heading to bed.

Eat more fruits and vegetables.

Fruits and vegetables are rich sources of energy. The natural sugar content in fruit and vegetables can boost your energy levels without causing a sudden drop in energy that you can experience when eating sugary cakes or energy drinks. This is because the natural sugar in fruits and vegetables is easily absorbed by the body.

Stay Hydrated with Water and Electrolytes.

our bodies are made up of mostly water, even small dips in hydration are enough to affect your metabolism. Stay hydrated by making sure you’re drinking enough water and other fluids throughout the day. The National Academy of Medicine suggests about 9 cups of fluids a day for women and 13 cups for men.

Vegetable Juice.
Drinking fresh vegetable juice is a shock to your body — in a good way! Losing the vegetable fiber during juicing makes them easier for your body to absorb and digest. And because less work is required for your body to reap the nutritional benefits, you’ll notice an increase in energy. Additionally, drinking your veggies helps eliminate toxins from the body while also feeding your cells.

Take in more B12.
Even if you eat a balanced diet, you may be deficient in important nutrients. If you’re feeling sluggish, try increasing your intake of vitamin B12. This vitamin is naturally found in animal-derived foods like meat, fish, poultry, and dairy, which explains why many vegetarians and vegans may not get enough through diet alone. (Vitamin B12 is also important for anemia prevention.) Vitamin B12 supplements can be found in the vitamin aisle of most grocery stores; you can take this vitamin on its own or in a blend of other B vitamins.

Herbal Teas.
Rooibos tea is another type of tea that helps fight fatigue. Made from South Africa’s red bush plant, this refreshing red tea is packed with antioxidants including aspalathin, an antioxidant that helps regulate the adrenal hormones, helping to reduce stress and keep energy levels high.
